Chronic minor problems flying Arena Multiplayer occur due to differences between RBII upgraded and RB3D CD versions. When (most) all pilots are using the RB3D CD install , the incidences of *flamer mass boots* and target destruction anomalies are greatly reduced. This in turn helps keep the server stable. It's reasonable to expect Rens Secure Server / Player mod checker and anti-cheat programs will work better and be easier to set up if players have the same important files exactly the same version, placed in the same directories as Red Baron 3D CD... RBII upgraded version also complicates the installation of MMP Arena enhancement mods With RB3D CD unavailable, it became apparent a player made patch was needed. After careful comparisons of both RBII upgraded & RB3D CD files, we've developed a beta patch and method we think converts RBII CD + superpatch MMP to complete compatibility to RB3D CD MMP RBII CD compatibility to RB3D CD MMP patch  23MB v0.9 beta
