The
term UnOfficial Patch was coined by Beery and Sygrod in 1998
, and meant to reflect fixes to Red Baron II such as missing
and incorrect aircraft color schemes and incorrect historical
references.
While
the term UOP stuck, by the Summer of '99, these works not only
fixed minor problems, but moreso enhanced and improved Red Baron
II/3D, adding important aces like Josef Jacobs, greatly improved
paint schemes and date based file swapping with Campaign Manager
by Von Tom.

Jacket takes the game to a new level. This has been an extremely
well received mod with stunning graphics and enhanced gameplay,
however, it is a commercial effort only available on CD , and
does not use date based changes. |

Western Front
Patch 6 is the only current date-based UOP, taking Red Baron
3D to an incredible 100 plane types and varieties , WFP represents
most of the latest developments by SWWISA members. |

Hell's
Angels is rock solid and considered the successor to the original
'UOP' series.Contributed to primarily by SWWISA artists and modelers,
HA also includes some neat contributions by Baron von Helton. |
